Running on the roads: Last year some competitors did not listen to our race briefing where we specifically told you to NOT RUN ON THE ROADS. Auckland City Council officials were at our event and almost shut us down due to some people simply being dangerous and silly. Timing:  We will only be taking podium finishers times but will supply a clock at the start/finish. The clock will be started at 8 am when the 21km runners/walkers start however for the other distances might we suggest you wear a watch.

Cut Off Time: This year we have had to implement a cut off time due to traffic managment so this mean everyone will need to be back and under the Orewa North bridge before 11.am. We will have two officials on bikes out on the course helping the last competitors along.
